Educational visit on my ordinary place of work.

My ordinary place of work is in the municipalitys social work, to provid support and service for people with functional disabilities. I brought two classes to visit and try some of the activities and facilities we have at this place.

Two "chill out caves":

A ball pit for adults. The students used the lift and sling to enter it:
The gymnastics corner with trampolins, pilatus balls, wall bars, fat boys and the dots on the wall sounds when you touch them:

  1. Looks like a great sensory learning environment. They use simalr rooms here in Australia in many of the school for students who have disabilities.

Marie, yes it´s a nice corner =) I like it as well!
It´s so many diffrent kind of disabilities. How we use this aids depence on who we work whit. When we work with people whit adult injury we use this area more like a gym place. In outher cases it´s a place for relax, balance training, the dots that sounds when touching them is just motivation for people that need justification directly, like motivation to make the practices. The trampolin is good to lay on or jump at. The "fat boys" is great for the recovery time =)

I like this way of thinking, to use the minds and importans to play like motivation!
