Validation


Here they validated writing the course educational leadership. This is a school for adults. They validates Child and Recreation programme. 8 weeks of validation writing, oral and practical in a preschool. After that the just study the parts they could not validate.

    So is the whole course 8 weeks and what is the name of the qualification at the end ?

    Hi, they validates for 8 weeks and after that we see what they know or not know. After this 8 week they study only things that they don´t know. Some may study just for , maybe, 6 week some may study for perhapse 25 weeks. It depends of what skills they have before.This is the Child and Recreation programe for adults. Do you have something like this in Australia?

    Hi - we have " units of competency "

    So each unit has a name -

    Eg care for babies
    Care for children
    Interact effectively with children
    Support sustainable practices

    There are 15 units that make up the qualification

    Each student receives instruction in each unit and must be deemed competent in both on the job and off the job skills for each unit.

    They can also choose an RPL process - this is recognition of prior learning.

    This means instead of studying the theory they can supply evidence on the skill,s they have learnt on the job and they can be assessed this way .
