Looks really fun! The experience can be good to have when the you go downhill with a group of children after school. In the north of Sweden there is enough snow to ski a lot.
Yes it´s mandatory for the students in grades one. It´s fun to see the students in a different forum, where perhaps the weak learner in the school will be able to demonstrate a strong ability.
Hmmm! I think if it`s mandatory do we have equivalent traning in Sweden? In the south part we dont have snow like in the north. Do you have something moore like this in the winter?
When I worked as a ski instructor in Norway, thay were crosscountry skiing and downhill skiing whith school, becouse thay said it makes more connections between the two sides of the brain! I which it was that way in Sweden also!
Hihi Denise! I live very south down in Sweden. We often don´t have so much snow and we surrtenly don´t have hills. My landscape in Skåne look like an pancake. For us it´s equal if we drive to Italy or to the north of Sweden to skiing. To Val Gardena in Italy we have 138 swedisch miles.
What a great experience for them .
ReplyDeleteYes, and the aim is that everyone should have the opportunity to try to ski downhill
ReplyDeleteCan I come and try too :) ?

Hi Marie, we went skiing in a small town called Ulricehamn, that actually is very south and it was great.

ReplyDeleteI agree that it creates a special connection and very quickly get to know students in a situation like this.

Valgardenia sounds nice, but Ulricehamn is maybe cheaper? ;)Your "pancake" landscape is very nice the other seasons Marie!
ReplyDeleteSnow - is not something that I have much experience with - shame hey ? Lol
ReplyDeleteBut to Hallandsåsen is it just 70 km from Malmö. You can skii there! It´s perfect for a day trip!
